Born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, Tim has been a writer, producer and actor for over fifteen years. Focusing heavily on the creative process Tim specializes in taking a project from concept to delivery, whether it be developing a character to bring to life as an actor or seeing a project grow from script to screen.
In 2005, Tim co-founded WANGO Films alongside April Mullen, and has written, produced and starred in every one of the company’s feature films to date. WANGO’s first two feature films, Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser and GravyTrain, were seen in festivals worldwide, picked up by Alliance Films for distribution and theatrically released in Canada. WANGO’s third feature, Dead Before Dawn 3D, is the first fully Canadian Feature Film to be shot in Stereoscopic 3D and was awarded the Perron Crystal Award by the 3D Stereo Media Summit in Liege, Belgium for its achievements in 3D. Doirons latest feature, “88″, a fast-paced revenge thriller starring Katharine Isabelle and Christopher Lloyd, is set to release early 2015.
Tim loves to keep it WANGO.
